Michael Washer has been crafting poetry for more than two decades. This volume collects some of the best of his work. Like his artwork, his poems swirl with imagery of family, relationships with God and man, God's involvement or lack of it, hard passages and the joy of a simple life.

Michael Washer's voice in fiction has been described as Kurt Vonegut meets Phillip Roth, meets Joan Didion. This novel, sometimes bordering on the absurd, is an implausible, impossible story of a Rabbi who "wants to find out about Jesus". It follows the awakening of a Jewish kid from El Paso Texas, his education to become a Conservative Rabbi, and then his strange spiritual journey. With irritating and challenging visitations by a long-dead relative from beyond the grave, he journeys into the past of his own strange family, his passion for "crypto Jews" hidden in the Southwest, his falling in love, and into his own psychological problems to discover a radical but effective way to live: "from the inside out".

This sweeping historical novel spans over 100 years, four generations, and weaves a beautiful, epic tale of Judaism, the coming and going of relationships, wars won and lost, chaos, love and ultimately, of redemption.

This little book is a gem; revealing  one of the most often quoted,  and least understood Scriptures concerning the Messiah.  It was prophesied that the Messiah would be - and alleged that Jesus or Yeshua was - the Priest/King, and that he would occupy both offices. This concept is usually "spiritualized", not verified or authenticated. In the Judah-Levi Link, the author traces the historical, genealogical chain of intermarriage of the most prominent families of Levi (Priest's family) and Judah (King's family) throughout Scripture and Jewish history. This book provides ample evidence that the Messiah could be, and indeed was, both Priest and King simultaneously.

Part 3 begins with "The Feast", or Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, and continues through Shemini Atzeret, and a fascinating examination of time, space, relativity, gravity and a surprising look at "Heaven" itself. Next is a large, and challenging chapter on Hannukah. In it, the details of Hellenism, the way of the Greek, and its difference from Judaism is highlighted with a tightly researched facts and historical evidence that cuts to the very core of the entire question: "Who is Jesus?" Why has he been shown as he has over the millenia? And what does this mean for us and for a possibly terrifying future? From Hannukah we travel through Tu b'Shevat, the New Year for Trees, and then the fun, and unabashed craziness of Purim, with some of the most bizarre and amazing historical fulfillments to be found anywhere. The final chapter is as audacious as the first in "His Coming". In this chapter, the myth of "no man knows the day of the hour" is shattered! This is done with a very careful examination of words which most of us read without really seeing or thinking about, then re-reading without pre-conceived ideas, but through ancient Jewish views of Scripture. Added to this is an exhaustive list of Scriptures, which when added one to another, create an unassailable certainty concerning the truth of the matter in question.  Very challenging and rewarding!

giving of the Holy Spirit. Then, it enters the summer months with their heat of destruction: the 17th of Tammuz through the 9th of Av when both Temples were destroyed over 500 years apart. We then come to the 40 days of repentance: the month of Elul, and the ten days of Awe. Elul is the 30 days of preparation for the High Holy Days. This leads to an exhaustive examination of Rosh ha Shana, the most important of all the festivals, and the most critical to understand Judaism as Prophecy. The volume ends with the last day of the 40 days of repentance, Yom Kippur; the Day of atonement, and the literal return of the Messiah to the earth.

Part 1 contains all the basics: Pictures, the Calendar, the Sabbath, the New Moon and the Day of the Lord. These provide a thorough Biblical foundation. It continues through the first Festivals - those of the Spring - Passover, Hag ha Matzah, and First Fruits.

Part 2 continues through the 50 days of the Counting of the Omer, the time period from First Fruits to Pentecost, or Shavuot, the time of the giving of the Ten Words  as  well  as  the

The origin of each time period is thoroughly explained, as well as its original Jewish understanding.
